Ministry of Mobility and Public Works & Public Transport Administration

Several tools have been implemented to make public transport information accessible to all. For instance, screens on RGTR and TICE buses display upcoming stops, complemented by audio announcements for visually impaired passengers. Additionally, bus timetables are developed in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Experts Group on Accessibility (MEGA) to ensure they meet accessibility standards.

In addition, the Public Transport Administration supports Luxembourg’s municipalities in ensuring accessible bus network access for people with reduced mobility through its brochure, 'Recommandations pour l'aménagement des arrêts de bus' (Recommendations for the Design of Bus Stops). This guide outlines technical requirements for accessibility, such as tactile guidance systems for the visually impaired and step-free bus access for people with physical disabilities.
